NRB Non-curing Rubber Bituminous Waterproofing Coating is made of rubber, bitumen, and additives, which always remain viscous during application. NRB bituminous paint for foundation is supposed to be heated in site to flowing state, then brushed or sprayed on the substrate to form a waterproof layer with strong cohesion, excellent creep property, and self-healing.

NRB bituminous paint for concrete foundation is both a waterproof layer and a bonding layer as well.

※   Scope of Application

NRB Bituminous Liquid Waterproofing is an excellent waterproof material, suitable for building basement, roof and other waterproof parts. NRB asphalt waterproofing paint can be used as the bonding material of modified asphalt waterproof coils, and can also be used as the auxiliary material for sealing of self-adhesive waterproofing membranes.

NRB Coating can also be used as a bonding layer for other waterproof materials.

 

※  Construction Points

1. The heating temperature and the coating temperature of this material are high. The construction personnel should wear the necessary labor protectiontools (such as gloves) to avoid high temperature burning.

2. The material is a creep solid at regular temperature, so it must have good application performance at a suitable temperature. lf the unfinished coating's temperature decreases during application, it shall be reheated.

3. When reinforcement material is needed, it is better to pave beIore tnebottom coating cools. The surface coating can be brushed immediately after paving.

4. When the coating is only used as waterproofing layer alone, non -woven fabric or asphalt felt should be paved as an isolated layer after brushing coating. Then protective layer can be carried out.

5. The heating limit temperature is 200℃ and the heating cannot be sustained for more than 30 min.

 

※  Construction Methods

NRB Non Curing Rubber Bitumen Waterproofing Coating can use construction methods as below:
Hot Application (or called hot applied or hot-applied).

HOT APPLICATION is composite of rubber asphalt waterproof coating and self-adhesive membrane which is closely bonded with the base layer to form a "skin-type" waterproof system. It is an organic whole with complementary advantages, which can adapt to the deformation and self-healing performance of the base, effectively prevent water channeling and reduce leakage hazards.

Substrate Requirements

1) The firmness and strength of the base layer should meet the design requirements.

2) The surface of the base layer should be clean and smooth, and there should be no quality defects such as powdering, sanding, peeling, voids and pits.

3) Remove sundries, greasy dirt, sand, etc. on the surface of the base layer, and the cleaning work must be carried out at any time during the construction.

4) If there is clear water on the base layer, it needs to be cleaned before construction. If the base surface is relatively damp, it needs to be dried with a blower.

※  Storage and Transport

1. Stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight, moisture and fire.

2. The storage period is six months. After the expiration, it shall be tested again. NRB waterproofing bituminous paint can be used again after passing the test.

3. Upside-down stacking, stacking no more than three layers.

4. Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the storage period shall be at least 12 months from the date of production.
